Church Introduction

United Protestant Church of Pakistan

The full name of our church is the United Protestant Church of Pakistan. It is located in the capital of Pakistan, the city of Islamabad. A Korean missionary planted the Presbyterian Church in 1996, but unfortunately, the missionary returned to Korea in 1997, and the church was almost dead. When my father, Rev. Emanuel Khokhar, finished his Ph.D. in 2008, he returned to Pakistan after finishing his studies with the financial support of the Korean church.

He did not join his former church, but rather thought that why not re-establish the ministry of an unknown Korean missionary? So he re-established it under the name "United Protestant Church of Pakistan." It took a long time, but slowly, people joined this church. In the future, the United Protestant Church will be a small denomination (group), and the church has a foundation named "Lord's Outreach Ministries Foundation," which is registered as a charitable organization with the government of Pakistan under the Pakistan Government Societies Registration Act. The Foundation Executive Committee (LOMF) looks after all the affairs of the church under the supervision of its founder, chairman, and senior pastor, Emanuel Khokhar. I work alongside my father as a pastor. We are a group of eight ordained pastors and two evangelists whose church is doing the following work in Pakistan.

1. Worship services: We hold regular Sunday worship services where believers come together to praise and worship God.

2. Bible studies: We conduct weekly Bible studies to help believers deepen their understanding of the Word of God.

3. Evangelism: We actively engage in evangelistic activities to share the love of Christ with those who have not yet heard the gospel.

4. Community outreach: We organize various outreach programs to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the community, such as providing food and clothing to the underprivileged.

5. Education: We run a small school for underprivileged children to provide them with quality education and equip them for a better future.

6. Medical camps: We organize medical camps in remote areas to provide free medical services to those who cannot afford proper healthcare.

7. Counseling and prayer: We provide counseling and prayer support to individuals facing challenges in their lives.

We strive to be a light in the community and spread the message of love, hope, and salvation through our ministry. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God and make disciples of all nations in Pakistan.
