St. Anthony's Cambridge School System
St. Anthony Cambridge School System
(Regd)
St. Anthony's Cambridge School System is a project of the United Protestant
Church of Pakistan, registered as "Lord's Outreach Ministries
Foundation" under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of the
Government of Pakistan and existing as a church and charitable organization.
St.
Anthony's Cambridge School System is registered with the Federal Board of
Education up to grade 10 (English medium) and provides formal education to
poor, orphaned, street children, and privileged children from the slum areas
around Islamabad. The school administration provides the children's
tuition fees, books, backpacks, uniforms, shoes, and stationery.
Education is the
most powerful weapon you can use to change the world, but children from poor
families have a hard time getting an education, and Christians are among the
most affected. This has been happening with Christians in Pakistan for a long
time, but now it has become an issue of public agitation, and Christians have
taken to the streets to call attention to this discrimination.
In Pakistan, most
Christians are very poor and don't have the resources to send their children to
school, so St. Anthony's Cambridge school system is working for the poor and
street children, especially the Christian children. This is a very good
experience; you become stronger through this school church. St. Anthony's
Cambridge School System is currently registered with the Federal Board of
Education and provides education to poor children up to grade 10 (high school).
In the future, the church plans to open another branch in a poor Christian
neighborhood.
